Some of the stats and highlights of these hike are:
- 48 4000' New Hampshire Peaks in 16 months (10 Oct 2011 - 09 Mar 2013)
- 27 Trips to NH from RI @ ~ $100/trip for Gas.= $2700 ~ $56/peak just for gas.
- 4 overnight AMC Hut Hikes: Zealand - 2 peaks, Galehead - 4 peaks, Carter Notch (off season) - 4 peaks
- 1 overnight (3 peaks - Bonds) done at AMC campsite in the lean-to.
- 1 overnight backpack with tent just off the trail in snow. - Hancocks
- 1 overnight spent at AMC Highland Center bunkroom. (Moriah ?)
- 8 peaks (3 trips, 2 hut hikes) done with my grandson Kris - all others were solo.
- 1 peak done completley at night in the moonlight (W. Bond)
- 13 peaks qualify for the AMC NH4k winter list
- longest 1day - 1 peak hike: Owls Head
- longest 1 day hike: Monroe & Jefferson.
- number of 1 peak trips. 14
- Most peaks in a day: 3 (Carters & Tom,Field,Willy)
- Longest intensional butt slide (1000 vert ft - S.Hancock)
- Stuck in spruce trap on Eisenhower for 20 minutes.
- Accidental slide on rock slide on Owls head (6" diameter bruise on butt)
- Most difficult section: going up north rock slide on N. Tripyramid. (Whiteface cliffs is close second)
- Favorite pictures: sitting off Bondcliff, feeding greyjays on Isolation.
- Most adventurous, horizontal repel crossing overflowing river on ammonusac (Mt Wash)
- Moose charging at me (I thought) at Carter Hike Trail head.
- Worst hike: caught in freezing rain and high wind with bad leg on Tom, Field & Willy
- Favorite Hike: Most of them. to hard to pick
- Hardest Hike: Waumbek - should have been easy but did too soon after giving blood.
